Last week, our church had our Vacation Bible School. The theme was "Avalanche Ranch" and the sanctuary was dressed to the 9s to look the part! (We have a fabulous interior designer who does the decorations for VBS every year. She outdoes herself each year! On the stage was a log cabin and a horse, there were clouds strung up from the ceiling, and a pine tree forest in the choir loft. It was incredible.)
Anyway. The church was all decorated and ready on Saturday, which is when we have one of our contemporary services. Hubby, Damselfly and myself are in the band called Renanah which does the music for the service. Being the goofballs that we all are, we decided to dress to match the decor. We didn't play country music, though, although if you gave us banjos and washboards we sure would have looked the part!!
That's my sweet hubby playing guitar!!
A couple people told me that I look like Shania Twain in that hat. Aww! :)
We don't normally all wear hats like that. :)
Ride 'em, Cowboy!
