I Got A Job!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo!!!

I got a job!!

This coming up school year, I will be the new music teacher for our local Christian preschool! I'm so excited! I'll teach music classes to 2, 3, and 4-year olds, and run two chapel services a week. It's great because it's part-time, so I won't be away from Lancelot too long! It will be such a blessing to our family to have a little bit of extra income, too. This is my first "real job." I've worked various temp jobs or things outside of my field, but they don't count. This is for an entire school year and I'll be a real teacher!! Because it's a preschool I don't have to have a degree, which is good, because I'm not done with my degree yet. All I have left is student teaching! When Lancelot is old enough to attend preschool, I'll go back and do that and become a 100% fully certified teacher, then who knows what will happen??

I'm so happy! I'm jumping up and down and giggling over here! tee hee!

Have a lovely day!

All hail the conquering educator! Your first "real job"...just another rung on the ladder to "grown-upness". Of course what does it actually mean to be a real grown up? I love you! Many a hearty smiles and hugs upon you dear sister!

Yay for your new job! That's awesome!

The tulle was for a headpiece for my friends wedding. Let me tell you, with the cat helping, it took twice as long to make :-).

Congratulations! I teach Preschool Art at the local park, not quite the same thing but a lot of fun. :) I know you'll enjoy it a lot! And once the baby is old enough, it's nice to have very part-time work you actually get paid for, if you know what I mean; not away from them too long, but just a little bit and make a little extra money to feel like you do something other than change diapers and such!
