HELP!!!

I'm supposed to start school a week from Monday.

My childcare fell through. Now we're looking at spending hundreds of $$ a month so I can go to school.

I'm having issues with my financial aid. First I couldn't do the application online. Then my first name and last name got mixed up, so the Social Security Administration can't verify that I exist which is throwing a major delay into the works. Now I have to verify that I do in fact exist, and only THEN they will process my application and MAYBE I will get some money. But will it be in time? And if they don't give me money, I will already have started, wasting time and more money spent on childcare that wouldn't have been necessary if everything went smoothly and I knew today that I was not going to be getting any money.

Are these things signs from God that I should not be going back to school now, or are they just life's obstacles that come up that I need to overcome?

I've been praying for God's direction in this. One day I feel sure that I am to go ahead with my plans. The next day a roadblock pops up, convincing me that I need to wait.

Help!!

I know the feeling. Hopefully you will find what where God is leading you soon. :-)

How frustrating! I hope this all works out for you, one way or another. Have you thought about asking around at the school you'll be student teaching at about childcare? (Hello, run-on sentence!) Most teachers have a childcare provider that they all seem to use.

I am praying here. You know, one thing I learned about school a while ago is, if you go while your boy is still young, he'll never know it. My friend told me, "When they're older, they REALLY need you." And I found that to be really true.

Now as for financial aid, I'm praying that you'll be able to see God's hand in this whole thing.

Hang in there. And keep us posted.

Hugs,

Susan

That, my dear, sounds like one of Randy Pausch's brick walls.

God works in mysterious ways.

You know I will help any way I can.

One thing my mom always says is that God doesn't necessarily orchestrate every detail of our lives- I get caught up in trying to find His will, and she reminds me that as long as I am seeking Him, He will bless me in WHATEVER I choose to do. If you make the decision to go to school, I'm sure childcare and money will work themselves out and you will see His hand. If you decide to stay home, He will bless you there too.

It's happening to the best of us! Prayers to you - and up one - awesome on the flip-flops- I plan weddings and had a bride who wore her reeboks - and she had a smile on her face all day long.

OHh, I hate that kind of feeling. I am not exactly sure what I should be doing in life either. I think I am going to make a list and pray on it.

I don't think God is giving you signs in the way you think.

I do think that sometimes when we really need to do something, that it's important to our journey, Satan trys to stop us by throwing obstacles in our paths. (Just be grateful your name isn't Job!)

I also think that sometimes, things just happen, and that too is part of our journey.

Hang in there!
